This week I brought the berry tank humidity up to the 75-78% range. It seems to be holding well in that area. The temp has been low to mid 70’s but by turning their lamp on high I’ve brought it up to 78F. The larger berry is no longer buried, it must have been unwinding. They are eating well and totally decimated a pile of popcorn they were given. Tonight they are eating raspberry and blackberry. Well the raspberry at least. I’m going to look for some more corner bubbler dishes for them.
One of my Cavipes is down also. I have to look to see which one it is. Went down last week by digging under a humid hide in the main tank. The others kept sitting on him so I moved him to a small KK on the upper floor. My two wee babies are still dug down in their ISO as well.
Stacy, I bought the bubbler bowls at http://www.petking.net which are good for my medium crabs. This is the corner bowl that I’m currently using in my Straw tank http://amazonmoosey.com/tek9.asp?pg=products&specific=jnomirf8 After trying several pools, I found that I liked this one the best. It’s deep, but fits in the corner of the tank. I added my own my own airstone.
Sorry – but my hermit crabs got the water in the food and it’s all over the sand.
