Land hermit crabs walk miles and miles each night in search of food on the beach or in the forest. You can fulfill this need by providing a plastic hamster wheel. Mine is the XL wheel because I have large hermit crabs in this tank.

Tips:
Get the appropriate size for your largest crab.
Coat the entire white metal stand in silicone to prevent cracking and rusting. Re-apply periodically
Mount the wheel on a side wall if you have room.
Warning:
The white coating will crack and rust over time.
Use the correct silicone! GE Silicone II Clear Caulk in the blue package. Do not buy the mold free version.
