Back in 2001 melipye, from Hermies Group on Yahoo, visited FMR. Here are a few pictures she took. Now this is 7 years ago and hermit crabs are more common now I think. Now look at the size of that shell pile and think about all those hermit crabs who were harvested and brought to FMR. Now think about how frequently hermit crabs die after purchase. That’s a lot of dead crabs. Now FMR is not the only company selling hermit crabs so multiply that pile many times over. FMR used to be considered the place to go for expert advice on hermit crabs. But Kathy is gone and FMR has not kept up on care requirements, instead they focus and selling gaudy, pointless painted shells. Think of all those lovely shells ruined for no reason. So many things to be sorry about in these pics. So many things FMR should be sorry for.
