Tasty!! :)) Alright maybe not so tasty for you or me but if kids eat worms they can’t be all bad right? So I thought about feeding a dead worm to my crabs a bit ago but we haven’t had a rain since where I was able to find any on the sidewalk. Today I saw two dead on the driveway. I bent down to get the one that was still juicy but when I got close it was swarming with microscopic red ants. 88| GROSS!! So I went and picked up the crispy one instead and divided it between Courtney (my new large PP) and the main tank.
I am now wondering if live worms would survive in my tank in the eco earth and help keep the tank clean??? Hmm… must ask Sue!
Now for the wheat! I am sowing wheat seeds in my mini germinator both of which I received as part of a generous gift pack from Aurelia in France. This is very simple and I’ve done it once before with sesame seeds.
First you rinse the germinator:
Then add the seeds, I am using a small number because I don’t want to waste any of the sprouts.
Place the lid on and put it in a somewhat sunny spot until they begin to sprout, then remove the lid. Change the water daily.
I will take pics as they progress.
